Some older
photos of Jutta (May 2000) and Diether (winter 1999) at the
weekend retreat during a hike in the hills.
The family pets are back- and front yard cats, some racoons, and other wild animals, which use our back- and side-yard as an occasional home. They need very little care.
The photos below show our family
home with the two cars parked in front, and the old Oldsmobile
separately as well (parked on Bordeaux Drive in Sunnyvale). It
still drives about 20 miles with one gallon of unleaded gas. It's
gas tank holds 25 gallons, enough for a trip of 500 miles. Ben
has developed skills to work on the car. It is now May 2000, and
the car still drives well. Diether takes it to work occasionally,
Ben drove it to the Los Angeles area a while ago.We finally sold
the Oldsmobile in November 2002 to a neighbor, who looked for a
big safe car.
The house is located in a nice area with view of hills and of the seasonal lake I, shown below.
